What a great topic! I have the best husband...he always goes over and above for me. When the boys were babies and I nursed, he would change their diapers after the middle of the night feedings and bring them down to bed in the morning for their morning feedings so I wouldn't have to get up. He changes the sheets in the middle of the night when my 5 year old has an accident. He does the dishes every night after dinner and unloads the dishwasher every morning since I prepare all the meals. One Mother's Day, he called my scrapbooking consultant, ordered a small album and he and the boys printed out their favorite pictures of me cooking and put together an album! That was one of my favorite gifts--pure love went into that and they were all so excited to give it to me. Larry is a GREAT dad and husband and I make sure I tell him every day!

I have to say that I have a wonderful husband. He doesn't only work all day but comes home and helps out all over the place. Folding laundry, vacuuming, changing diapers, bathing, ect... He also does coaching for baseball and football for the boys, and helps out with fundraisers for cheerleading. He takes and picks up kids as much as I do and even goes on fieldtrips with the kids classes. But i have to say he picked up big bonus points when he got me tickets to Bon Jovi and Chris Daughtry last weekend even though he doesnt really like Bon Jovi!! It was so fun and he made it a really great birthday. What we have to remember is that we can tell our friends how great our husbands are, we also have to remember to tell them! Most men get trampled all day at work and we must build them up when they get home!!

Default Wonderful Men

I have to say it is so refreshing to hear about men that are great husbands and fathers! We hear so much of the negative all the time! Plus, I think that sometimes we as wives can be quick to point out everything they're doing wrong and forget to tell them and other everything they're doing right!

So...I will brag on my husband a little now.
During my pregnancy he would massage my feet all the time for me and for the last 8 weeks he massaged them EVERY NIGHT! I never got swollen feet at all and I really think that had something to do with it.
Then he changed the majority of the diapers (through the night and day) since I was doing the breast-feeding and even now he NEVER complains when I need him to watch our daughter so I can go do something. He treats her like a little princess, I love to watch them interact.

You are so right, 7kids! When I told my husband last night that I had posted how wonderful he is--it made his day! Our men NEED to hear how much we love and respect them and it's so easy to forget to tell them daily.

Default Husband Love

Husbands do deserve some bragging! My wonderful husband is such a great helpmate when it comes to caring for our son. He changed most/all the diapers before he had to go back to work. He takes on every baby challenge - feeding, bathing, napping, etc...with ease. He is such a natural Daddy! I LOVE watching my little Kolby with his Daddy - they are like twins. He is an amazing Dad and Husband; he would do anything for me, and does! He even cooks almost every night for me and cleans house without me having to ask. I am soooo blessed and grateful for him.
